CONCLUSION
From the research gathered, despite the negative past of Cambodia and the current day corruption amongst the government. Communities whose religion differs from Cambodia’s state- religion are allowed and given the right to the same freedoms as the large Theravada Buddhist community. Penalties apply to anyone who creates disturbances between different religions thus creating conflict. As there have been no reports of religious conflict between the religion and state and no reports from authorities transgressing these articles to oppress of disadvantage communities that worship religion differing from state religion. Therefore justifying that the relationship between religion and state is consistent with the country’s declaration about religion state relationships in its constitution.
